About
The Basics
Foundation
Over the last thirty years, Lorono Homes has four pillars that have provided the foundation for exceptional relationships with their clients.
Open and Transparent – Communication is the key to the Loronos’ customer service when sitting with a client. Working closely with clients demystifies and simplifies the design/build process and provides an opportunity for the Loronos to understand their clients’ goals.
Setting Realistic Expectations – The timeline of building a home is as important to the Loronos as it is to their clients. They strategically calculate their schedule for each step of the building process in order to achieve set deadlines. They would rather be conservative in the finish date than to be late in delivering a home.
Creative and Innovative – Lorono Homes always strives to be the cutting edge of creativity in design. Their team works with architects and designers who add form to function. Attention to avant-garde detail differentiates Lorono Homes and sets them apart from the pack.
Resounding Passion – Joe Lorono is as excited to start a project today as he was in 1985 when he built his first home. He has passed his perfectionism and work-ethic to his two sons, Joe and Frank who have joined the ranks and have learned craftsmanship, design and ‘boots on the ground’ style of managing a job site. Their passion has been the catalyst for over 100 homes built by the Loronos.
History
The Lorono Legacy
In 1985, Lorono Homes was born. Building runs in the family genes. As a young boy watching his craftsmen grandfathers designing cabinetry, Joe was drawn to the notion that home design was both pragmatic yet creative. Lorono immediately constructed a team of experts in every field and incorporated a philosophy of continuous on-site supervision in order to achieve the highest quality in his homes. When Joe’s sons decided to join the family business, the fourth generation of Loronos carried on the legacy. Joe explains, “My sons have played a strong part in helping our company change with the industry. They have added cutting edge technology and more contemporary design to keep us ahead of the curve.”
It is impossible to drive through their hometown of Rye, without seeing a Lorono-built home. Their success has been a combination of offering an exceptional product along with word-of-mouth referrals from past clients and neighbors. “We often have worked with our clients on multiple projects. Repeat business is the best endorsement for us,” adds Frank. Their signature has enhanced the community aesthetically and has created a lifestyle for many Rye residents.
The Lorono legacy is one that will continue for future generations as their homes are woven into the fabric of Rye.
